Privacy Policy

Overview

DropView (dropview.co) is operated by SixteenSixth LLC. This policy describes what information we collect and how we use it. The short version: your files are rendered in your own browser, we collect the minimum needed to run the service, and we don't sell your data.

Your files

Files you drop into DropView are compiled and rendered locally in your browser. We do not receive or store the contents of your files, with one exception: if you choose to create a shareable preview link, a copy of that file is stored on our servers so the link works for the person you send it to. Shared previews expire automatically.

Account information

If you create an account, we store your email address and basic account details needed to sign you in, along with approximate location (country and region), device type, and language at signup. We use this to understand who uses DropView and to improve the product.

Usage data

We use Google Analytics and our own event logging to understand how the service is used, for example how often files are previewed and which features are used. This data is tied to your account when you're signed in and is used only to operate and improve DropView.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We store only your subscription status.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for sign-in sessions, analytics, and remembering things like your daily preview count.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run DropView (hosting, authentication, analytics, and payments) and when required by law.

Data deletion

To delete your account and associated data, email admin@sixteensixthllc.com from your account email and we'll take care of it.
